Role Description The Certified General Commercial Appraiser is a full-time, hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing commercial real estate appraisals, analyzing market data, completing valuation reports, and applying appropriate methodologies to a wide range of property types. The role involves gathering and verifying property and market information, preparing well-supported analyses and written reports that meet professional and regulatory standards, and managing assignments to meet client timelines. The appraiser will coordinate with internal teams and clients, maintain current knowledge of market trends and relevant regulations, and use industry-standard tools and software to ensure accuracy and consistency in all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Real Estate Appraisal and Appraising, with experience in commercial property assignments.
- Proficiency in Valuation techniques and methodologies applicable to diverse commercial real estate assets.
- Ability to conduct rigorous Market Analysis for commercial real estate, including sales, income, and cost approaches.
- Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate markets, property types, and factors influencing value.
- Active Certified General Appraiser license in Arizona (or ability to obtain, if applicable), and familiarity with USPAP standards.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and written communication skills, with attention to detail and report quality.
- Comfort with appraisal and data analysis software, as well as standard office productivity tools.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a hybrid environment with both independent and collaborative tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or Business preferred.
