What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Manager position at BBEC, LLC?
This position will report to BBEC, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.

- Manage multiple tasks, produce quality work and meet deadlines.
- Minimum (10) years practical experience as an electrical Foreman and/or Service Technician.
- Minimum (2) years’ experience as an electrical Service Manager, Estimator, and/or Project Manager in a commercial/industrial environment.
- Possesses strong knowledge of commercial and industrial facilities and control systems, including their design, operation, and integration within complex electrical infrastructures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and positively, managing a fast-paced service department.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and regularly sit, stand and walk
Essential Duty Requirements:
- Service the client in a timely and respectful manner; meeting or exceeding their expectations.
- Lead and respond to all incoming service calls.
- Manager all work orders from creation through completion and invoicing within Company workorder software and Apps.
- Assign priority levels to service requests and manage monthly maintenance scheduling.
- Create and track all work orders using company software.
- Dispatch work orders to field personnel based on technician skill level, priority and availability.
- Coordinate travel and lodging for field staff as needed.
- Acquire, schedule, and release tooling, and equipment for service jobs efficiently.
- Confirm all safety equipment and PPE are provided to Service Technicians as required.
- Plan manpower allocation for quoted and T&M NTE work.
- Review completed work orders and timesheets daily and ensure proper documentation.
- Complete administrative tasks as requested.
- Create Purchase orders for material and equipment for service work orders and projects.
- Ensure clear communication of scope, goals and time requirements.
- Support productivity initiatives to enhance customer service and profitability.
- Input service contract scope and coordinate maintenance schedules with SSP Operation Manager.
- Create and complete preventative maintenance reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate service work.
- Track business metrics and collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage after hours on call schedule for service technicians and office support.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for service growth and upselling.
- Collaborate with project teams to support client needs.
- Evening or weekend availability for emergency service calls.

- Jobsite Safety: During jobsite visits the Service Manager will oversee the installation and testing of electrical systems and ensure all personal protective gear is available and being used properly.
- Conducting quality control inspections and tests on project deliverables to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
