We run global businesses from live events to merchandise through to music and magazine publishing. Job Purpose
The Licensing team focuses on managing the licensee relationships for the full portfolio of BBC brands including Bluey, Doctor Who, BBC Earth, and more. This role will provide support for the Softlines categories. As a coordinator, you will have a hand in many aspects of account management support including sample requests, business reviews, competitive analysis, and presentation/sales materials. As a Licensing Coordinator, you will need to have strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail is a must and being organized is critical. Strong ability to multitask with varying projects and deadlines. Accustomed to working proactively, whether independently or in teams and is comfortable presenting in front of groups virtually or in person. Experience with licensing and product development is preferred.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. This does not include other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and geographic location of the position.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Creating PowerPoint presentations (e.g. monthly brand decks, internal category updates, licensee sales pitches, etc.) that adhere to brand guidelines
- Collate category sales updates and reports out a summary across organization/team
- Coordinate category business reviews and product development meetings with licensees on an ongoing basis
- Take copious meeting/call notes and share recaps to relevant participants
- Assist with requesting, collecting, and organizing forecasting, retail placement reports, and visual line lists
- Input contract key data into Softlines Licensing Grid on an ongoing basis
- Send brand updates to external partners on an ongoing basis
- Help to identify white space in the market and research potential new categories and partners
- Monitor and stay in-the-know on industry competitive partnerships, collaborations, and retail launches
- Updating and maintaining licensee lists and contract/product timeline charts
- Primary liaison with Brands/Marketing team to – route approvals, brainstorm on product exposure on social/newsletters, gather lifestyle photography and product links etc.
- Primary liaison with Retail and Retail Marketing team to – request collateral and product ID numbers from retailers where necessary. Work with retail leads to curate respective product lists for retail activations, whether in store or digitally.
- Liaison with Operations & Ethical Policy team to ensure compliant – ie: factory approvals, audits, contract renewal tracking, etc.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal and external partners including licensees, Marketing and Brands, Creative, Retail, and Legal/Operations.
- Professional Experience: 3 years experience in licensing, retail, sales support, or the consumer products industry
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Attention to detail is key

- Ability to multi-task in a faced paced environment is a must
- Technologically savvy with proven skills working on decks in Microsoft Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word
