Job Title: After-School Cheer Coach

Ben Bellucci Academy is seeking a motivated and dependable Cheer Coach to lead after-school programs for elementary students in the Chevy Chase area. If you have a background in cheerleading and enjoy working with kids, this is a great opportunity to share your passion while helping students build teamwork, confidence, and spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fun, age-appropriate cheer sessions.
- Teach basic motions, chants, jumps, beginner stunts (safe and appropriate), and simple routines.
- Develop structured practice plans tailored to young athletes.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
- Motivate students with positive feedback and encouragement.
- Organize small showcases or performances to celebrate student progress.
- Set up and clean up equipment before and after practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience in cheerleading, coaching, teaching, or mentoring preferred.
- Knowledge of cheer fundamentals, safety, and performance skills.
- Energetic, positive, and patient when working with children.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass a background check.
Schedule & Pay:
- After-school hours, typically 1:30–4:30 PM.
- Pay: $25 per hour (based on experience).
