Duties
- Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to ensure dishes are served correctly and attractively
- Support the dining team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the service area
- Handle manual lifting of food trays, dishes, and supplies using safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely food delivery and guest needs
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout all service areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including garnishing or portioning ingredients
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with banquet or culinary settings is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service skills
- Enthusiasm for hospitality, teamwork, and creating positive guest experiences
