Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup to support smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices aligned with sanitation standards.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests.
- Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy pots, trays, or boxes to prevent injury and ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist in food safety management by adhering to food handling protocols and maintaining compliance with kitchen health and safety standards.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while supporting overall kitchen workflow during busy service periods.
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
