Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager to lead our retail team.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Manage POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering duties accurately
- Monitor store budget, payroll, and administrative tasks under an area manager
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Utilize effective communication skills for team management and customer interactions
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS software, and retail math concepts
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team management and employee development
- Experience in stocking, and sales management
- Knowledge of budgeting, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform retail math accurately and manage retail sales effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills including phone etiquette and customer service excellence
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks such as record keeping and inventory control
- Flexibility to adapt to shift management requirements within a retail environment
