Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. We're paying $14-$16, depending on experience.
Duties
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality food presentation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required (2-3 year).
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
