Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Harness Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The Technician will assemble, install, and troubleshoot electrical harnesses and assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical cable and harness products, electrical assemblies, and electrical enclosures.
- Route and assemble completed products on machinery in the Final Assembly area.
- Load software onto controllers using PCs and electronic devices.
- Test completed products according to documented test procedures, including using automated test equipment.
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering and ISO procedures
- Troubleshoot issues with electrical systems on the final production machines, using various test instruments.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels in the electrical department through routine cycle counts.
- Read and interpret work instructions, Bills of Materials, schematics, wire lists, and drawings.
- Maintain accuracy, completeness, and adherence to shop practices
- Communicate technical issues, inconsistencies, or safety concerns to leadership
- Accurately record and document time spent on assigned work orders using the BOSS app.
- Align with company mission, values and comply with safety policy and regulations.
- Support production needs as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma.
- Must have good dexterity with hands.
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekend hours as needed.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Time management skills and capable of working in a team environment.
