What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Technician position at Bazooka Farmstar Inc.?
Bazooka Farmstar is looking for a skilled Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you’ll build ag implements according to established production processes and perform quality inspections to make sure every completed order is ready to ship to the customer.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform assembly tasks using hand and power tools
- Operate stationary and moving overhead cranes
- Install flow meters, ECS units, hydraulics, lights, and wiring
- Operate a forklift as required
- Operate other equipment as needed to complete the job
- Anticipate and request needed supplies
- Report quality, process, equipment, and material problems to the Working Utility Lead
- Comply with company safety regulations, mission, and core values
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions and documents such as safety rules, production schedules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and stand for a 10-hour workday
