Job Title: Fleet and Heavy Equipment Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Fleet and Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Bazco Oil Company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet and equipment, working primarily in the shop but also traveling to job sites as required.
This role requires strong mechanical/technical aptitude, safe work habits, and a good understanding of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on our fleet, including routine oil and tire changes
- Experience with hydraulic systems, electrical, and basic wiring
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be a problem solver, reliable, ethical, and able to adapt to changing situations. They must also be willing to travel long distances on short notice and work overtime when requested.
A high school diploma, GED, or vocational training/certification is required for this position.
Please note that this role involves exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration on a regular basis.
