Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to process linens and towels.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold items according to established standards and protocols
- Perform cleaning duties in laundry areas to maintain a safe, organized, and sanitary workspace
- Ensure all laundry items are properly labeled and stored.
- Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low
Experience
- Previous experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with laundry equipment such as washers, dryers and cleaning machines is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and garments
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
