Lease Operator
Summary:
Works independently on routine operations. Assumes responsibility for assigned leases and provides input on efficiency and production improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and experience working in CO2 injection fields
- Independently perform daily lease rounds and maintain production reporting accuracy.
- Adjust equipment settings (pump jacks, separators, treaters, compressors) to optimize production.
- Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on production equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance and field crews on corrective actions.
- Manage chemical usage, fluid levels, and equipment run times.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and complete documentation.
- Train and mentor Level 1 Operators.
Skills & Requirements:
- 2 years minimum of field experience.
- Working knowledge of oilfield production equipment and processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and production reporting tools.
- Understanding of environmental and regulatory reporting.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership.
Contract Operator
Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor and control the amine and glycol processing units to ensure optimal performance and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Operate and maintain water treatment systems to ensure water quality meets required standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment and systems.
- Respond to system or equipment emergencies, applying rapid problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and risks.
- Record operational data and maintain logs for all shift activities, system performance, and maintenance work.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless plant operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience in industrial operations, particularly in petrochemical, oil and gas, or related fields.
- Familiarity with amine and glycol systems, water treatment processes and gas fired heaters is highly advantageous.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A strong commitment to safety and knowledge of industry-standard safety protocols.
