Multi-Skilled Operator

Responsibilities may include:

• Inspecting tanks and attached piping components for leaks or unusual conditions and taking corrective action
• Accessing remote locations to check wells, maintain normal operating levels, pressures and flow on separation equipment, making adjustments to automatic and manual controls
• Gauging tanks for sale or transfer of crude oil and water
• Adjusting pumping unit run time, stroke lengths, change belts, running Dynamometers, and test wells
• Maintaining chemical injection rates, start up and shut in wells
• Entering well tests, downtime and injection information into a computer database
• Monitoring and optimizing production and costs within area of control
• Operating a vehicle to perform job duties
• Following Company safety procedures
• Conducting basic operations, starting, stopping, ensuring properly loaded and basic trouble shooting

Basic/Required:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• 1 years direct experience in the oil and gas industry
• Willingness and ability to perform/comply with following:
• Working in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions
• Working in several different geographic locations each day
• Working both in and out of a vehicle
• Wearing appropriate special safety equipment
• Climbing heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks
• Walking, bending, stooping and lifting

Preferred:

• Associates Degree/Trade Certification or higher in a Production Technology, Process Technology or related technical field
• Work independently with minimum supervision
• Satisfactory safety record and knowledge of safety rules and practices
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions
• Ability to utilize laptop PC and applicable software programs
• Ability to prepare accurate and legible reports
• Ability to read and understand production and financial reports
• Ability to react to visual and aural signals, alarms, and instructions
• Satisfactory safety record and knowledge of safety rules and practices

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.50 - $26.50 per hour

Work Location: In person

Salary : $21 - $27
