Purpose:
BayWa r.e. Americas is seeking a Vegetation technician to join our Operations team.
We are excited to announce that we are looking to hire a Vegetation technician for Operations in Sawyer, OK for Choctaw. This overall objective will be achieved by meeting the following plant objectives:

This position reports to the Site Manager.
Responsibilities we will trust you with:
· Perform various vegetation management tasks including mowing, weed eating, and pruning.
· Perform various road and access way maintenance including grading, maintaining drainages and road improvements or repairs.
· Maintain and operate site equipment and implements.
· Perform gate, fencing and grounding repairs.
· Perform cable management on the solar facility.
· Perform snow removal activities.
· Identify and assist in various solar facility repairs on arrays, trackers, infrastructure and inverters.
· Assist with on call and emergency procedures.
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
· Safe operation of mowers, trimmers and tractors.
- Familiarity with maintaining landscaping equipment.
Physical and Other Demands:
· Ability to work in heat and cold.
· Ability to work in dusty conditions.
· Flexibility in work tasks to ensure plant operation.
· Strong team work mentality.
Preferred Skills:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Familiarity with landscaping equipment and their proper operation and maintenance.
· Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
· Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
· Valid driver's license is required
