Duties
- Assist in the installation of fences using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Measure, cut, assemble, and secure fence components according to project specifications
- Operate heavy machinery such as post drivers and concrete mixers safely and efficiently
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding or supports, and performing site cleanup
- Support masonry tasks including concrete forming, finishing, or landscape hardscape work as needed
- Perform general labor tasks like lifting heavy materials, digging post holes, and moving supplies
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades is highly desirable
- Knowledge of frame carpentry, masonry, or concrete finishing techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools (hammers, saws) and power tools confidently
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and equipment operation
- Experience with welding or landscape maintenance is advantageous but not required
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
