SFP Wealth is seeking a motivated Retirement Plan Specialist to support our growing Retirement Plan Department. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service to plan sponsors and participants across 401(k), 403(b), 457, Cash Balance, and Profit-Sharing plans. What You’ll Do:
- Support plan sponsors with onboarding, plan design updates, amendments, and investment changes
- Prepare fiduciary materials: agendas, investment menus, benchmarking reports, and review documents
- Coordinate and deliver participant education (group one-on-one)
- Manage RFPs for new and existing plans
- Respond to participant requests and resolve issues
- Maintain CRM and retirement plan data (RPAG, Salesforce, A360)
- Partner with recordkeepers on enrollments, rollovers, fund changes, and distributions
- Collaborate with TPAs to support fiduciary oversight
- Assist with internal revenue reporting and reconciliation
- Work with senior leadership on strategic plan design enhancements
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
- 3 years of experience in 401(k)/retirement plan administration or related area
- Full Cycle Management of a Retirement Plan
- Series 6 or retirement plan designation
- Familiarity with recordkeeping systems and platforms; Microsoft Office required
- Experience with Adobe, Salesforce, RPAG, or OneDrive is a plus
- Strong teamwork, communication, and client service skills
- High integrity and professionalism with confidential information
WORK AUTHORIZATION REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify, you must be a US Citizen or permanent resident. Our work environment requires in-office presence, so candidates must be local to Wellesley, MA.
Benefits & Compensation: We offer a competitive salary based on experience, $90–$130k, with six-figure potential through variable compensation and bonus opportunities, plus a full suite of benefits, PTO, and sick leave.
