Security Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to patrol a client site. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for crime prevention, preventing unauthorized access, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your expertise in surveillance, law enforcement procedures, and emergency response will ensure a secure environment for staff, visitors, and yourself. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive surveillance using CCTV systems and manual patrols to monitor activity across the premises.
• Control access points by performing cone closure or checks against a ledger.
• Respond promptly to security related issues and directives of location staff.
• Perform routine patrols and office check ins.
• Assist in crime prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and implementing preventative measures.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records with accuracy and professionalism.
• Support emergency services during any and all events requiring their presence.

Experience

• Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement environments demonstrating strong surveillance skills and conflict management abilities.
• Knowledge of CCTV operation, Patrol tactics, and alertness to threats
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and relevant security licenses are highly desirable.
• Background in military service or law enforcement is advantageous for understanding tactical response procedures.
• Experience performing foot patrols and remaining vigilant
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while executing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
