We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, menu options, and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
- Assist servers and kitchen staff by relaying guest requests and managing the flow of service during busy periods.
- Utilize OpenTable for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences when necessary.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is required.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system and Open Table.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest services are essential for success in this role.
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate restaurant hours.
