Machine Operator - Utility Construction
Bayside Electrical Contractors is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our field team. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused operator with hands on utiloity construction experience and a valid MA Hoisting License.
Duties
- Safety operate excavators, backhoes, skid steers, loaders and other construction equipment as required
- Perform excavation and trenching for underground electrical utility installation
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
- Assist with installation of underground conduit, utility structures, handholes, manholes and related systems
- Read and follow site plans, utility layouts, markings and field instructions
- Work closely with electricians, foreman, laborers, project supervisors and other trades
- Follow OSHA requirements, company safety procedures and job site regukations
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
