We are currently hiring a full-time, on-site, 40 hour per week Director of Quality Assurance. This position has the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Assess, evaluate, and review agency-wide practices to ensure compliance with regulation as set forth by the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA).
2. Review all incident reports in order to extract data related to individual and program trends to ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and to ensure reporting requirements are met.
3. Conduct investigations into incidents that may meet the criteria for internally reviewed, internally investigated, or reportable incidents as defined by DDA’s Policy on Reportable Incidents, and report accordingly.
4. Serve on the agency admission/discharge committee. Participate in the decision-making process by reviewing admissions applications, traveling to visit new prospective consumers, and participating in the admissions and discharge processes and decision-making.
5. Facilitate a customer satisfaction survey at least annually, compile data, and make recommendations for quality and performance improvement.
6. Participate in the agency grievance process and investigate complaints and concerns when needed as directed by the Executive Director.
7. Facilitate and chair the agency’s Standing Committee.
8. Develop, implement, and monitor the agency’s Quality Enhancement Plan.
9. Attend Quarterly QE meetings hosted by Regional DDA office and report back to the Executive Director & Assistant Executive Director.
10. Maintains and updates the Emergency Disaster Plan.
11. Coordinates with outside agencies conducting audits and develops a plan of correction when needed.
12. Act as point of contact for agency licensure surveys. Develops agency plans of correction and provide oversight to necessary licensure follow-up.
13. Is available after hours for on-call support to all programs and for notification of incidents.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
