Traveling Cleaning Technician

Monday- Friday 5:00p.m. to 10:00p.m.

The traveling Cleaning Technician is tasked with some of the most important responsibilities within Bayside CBS, maintaining a clean and healthy building for our customers with every service. The traveling technician works very closely as an assistant to the Regional Account Managers and will be cross-trained at all the accounts to fill absenteeism, PTO, and open positions. A company car is provided for transportation and is tracked for safety and security.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Filling in for absent employees.
• Drops off supplies as requested by management.
• Communicates effectively with the Regional Account Managers/Supervisors/all other management.
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Follow proper training regarding the use of all equipment and products.
• Adheres to all safety and security procedures at each location.
• Complete responsibilities within a determined work schedule and budget.
• Understand customer's expectations and help to ensure 100% satisfaction with each service.
• Identifies and resolves problems promptly by; Listening, gathering facts, and establishing solutions.
• Able to be re-directed from or to a site with little notification.
• Ability to withstand physical labor including; Lifting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
• Communicates respectfully.
• Accepts constructive feedback.
• Ensures janitorial closets are clean and organized.
• Advises management of employee or customer issues.
• Helps ensure a harassment-free environment and works with integrity and ethics.

• After initial training with the Regional Account Managers, works autonomously.
• Identifies work that needs to be completed, and uses time effectively to complete all assignments as expected.
• Communicates effectively to maintain effective work relations with all team-members.
• Detail oriented - pays attention to details at each account with extra attention to any special requests.
• Complete special request as requested.
• Ability to solve conflicts.
• Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, makes timely decisions and communicates to management.
Safety and Security
• - adheres to all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Maintains a familiarity with SDS sheets for all chemicals used.
