Job Summary
Bayshore Produce is looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Selector to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience working in a produce warehouse, selecting orders accurately, being familiar with the commodities, building pallets, and ensuring product quality.
Responsibilities
- Select customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Build, wrap, and organize pallets for shipping.
- Check product quality, freshness, and condition.
- Rotate inventory following FIFO procedures.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely (if certified).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience preferred (produce experience is a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
