The Landscape Laborer will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Build and install hardscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Maintain gardens by planting seasonal flowers and ensuring proper care of existing plants.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use.
- Follow safety protocols while performing all tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet client expectations.
Skills
- Experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to build hardscape features with attention to detail.
- Proficient in lawn care techniques including fertilization and pest control.
- Knowledge of gardening practices and plant care is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and maintenance tasks.
