Bayshore Home Care was founded in 1986 with the core mission to provide premium private duty home health care services tailored to the individual needs of seniors. The Nursing Supervisor enjoys the ability to travel to client’s homes, unlike working a floor at a hospital or a SNF. Not only does the Nursing Supervisor have one on one interaction with our clients, will also provide training and supervision of the Home Health Aides.
The Nursing Supervisor specializes in evaluating medical and non-medical needs and coordinating the appropriate services to make sure their clients receive the care and services most suitable for their unique situation. The Nursing Supervisor uses clinical expertise to provide peace of mind to our clients and their family members as they consult on key factors in senior care.
Nursing Visits
- Wellness evaluations
- Post-hospital evaluations
- Communicate status & recommendations to concerned family
- Medication set-up and management
Nursing Case Management & Client Advocacy
- Monitor the well-being of clients by visiting in their homes, travel is required. Travel mainly throughout Pinellas County.
- Consult with the client’s physician or family to address health concerns
- Provide recommendations for additional support services as needed
- Facilitate referrals to supportive community services
- Coordinate multiple healthcare services for client's comfort and safety
- Provide education and coaching to families or clients on specific disease management
- Uphold compliance of care plans and medications; reducing hospitalizations
Supervision of Caregivers
- Supervise all caregivers to ensure quality of care by observing while in clients’ homes
- Educate field employees as necessary on client service, professionalism, and quality care practices
- Conduct skills evaluations for newly hired caregivers and annually thereafter
RN license is required.
