Job Description
BayPoint Health is a progressive outpatient mental health practice serving the Seacoast New Hampshire community. We specialize in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Day Treatment, Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, and Family Counseling. We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and active participation in treatment planning alongside our multidisciplinary clinical staff. This role is central to ensuring clients receive comprehensive, coordinated, and client-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management.
- Collaborate with therapists, admissions staff, and clinical teams to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
- Support clients in IOP, Day Treatment, and outpatient programming.
- Accurately complete clinical documentation in the EMR system.
- Contribute to treatment planning and case reviews in a recovery-oriented, team-based environment.
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire PMHNP license
- Current DEA registration (NH)
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with experience in mental health and co-occurring disorders
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency with EMR systems
