Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for local and regional deliveries, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, handling heavy lifting with proper technique.
• Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections on your vehicle, ensuring all safety features are functional before each trip.
• Communicate professionally with clients upon delivery, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of load & unload activities, route details, and delivery confirmations.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a focus on route driving and customer interaction.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle type.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission.
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures, heavy lifting, moving equipment, forklift operation, and pallet jacks is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols for load & unload activities and driving regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving cargo efficiently and safely. Pay: $4,032.95 - $4,856.88 per week
