What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at Bayou palms Assisted Living Facility?
Bayou Palms Assisted Living and Memory Care is currently seeking dedicated and experienced cooks to join our team. We have both part-time and full-time opportunities available, with flexible scheduling options ranging from 16 to 40 hours per week.
We are looking for candidates with prior healthcare or senior living culinary experience who are ServSafe Certified and comfortable with batch cooking and meal preparation for approximately 60 residents. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and consistency.
More importantly, we are looking for someone who understands that working in an assisted living community is about much more than preparing meals. Our residents rely on us each day, and every interaction is an opportunity to make a positive impact.
