Bayou Insurance is a local independent insurance agency with three locations in south Louisiana. This opening is for a customer service position in our Thibodaux office. We are a full service life, health, personal and commercial insurance agency expanding into a new market.
Our agency is looking for a highly motivated customer service representative to provide excellent customer focused service.
Job functions include:
- Interact with customer, both on the phone and in person, in a professional manner
- Maintain a Property/Casualty insurance license in the state of Louisiana (if unlicensed, the agency will cover the costs to obtain a license).
- Organizational skills to correctly and accurately document and save all customer related documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and flexibility to adjust priorities as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate and friendly customer service
- Working knowledge and experience with current computer applications.

Qualification:
- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- One year of customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and functional workspace

Pay: $30,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
