Position Summary
The Lead Carpenter is responsible for overseeing and performing all aspects of carpentry work on residential projects. This role leads field crews, ensures quality workmanship, maintains safety standards, and coordinates daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and supervise a crew of carpenters and helpers on job sites
· Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute work accurately
· Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures
· Ensure projects meet quality standards and codes
· Maintain jobsite safety and enforce policies
· Train and mentor team members
· Manage tools, materials, and equipment efficiently
· Troubleshoot and resolve field issues
Qualifications
· 5 years of carpentry experience is preferred
· Proven leadership experience
· Strong knowledge of construction methods and tools
· Ability to read construction documents
· Strong communication skills
· Valid driver’s license & Transportation
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
