Responsibilities
- Assist in managing catering operations from planning to execution, ensuring all events meet quality standards and client expectations
- Supervise and train catering staff, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere focused on excellent service and food presentation
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency, freshness, and adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for inventory control, food procurement, and timely delivery of ingredients and supplies
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and billing accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels regularly to minimize waste while maintaining sufficient stock for upcoming events
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures throughout all catering activities
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent supervisory skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing candidates
- Background in hospitality management with a focus on food service management and customer satisfaction
- Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food production planning for large-scale catering events
- Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Demonstrated leadership in managing shift schedules, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality service delivery
