This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Estimator, located in La Porte, TX. The Project Estimator will manage and oversee the preparation of accurate cost estimates for fabrication, construction, and specialty projects. Responsibilities include analyzing project plans and specifications, preparing budgets, determining project costs, coordinating with the project team, and ensuring projects align with safety, quality, and financial goals. Additionally, this role will involve communicating with clients and vendors to gather necessary information to support the estimating process.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, budget preparation, and pricing development.
- Strong understanding of construction and fabrication processes, mechanical and electrical systems, and related requirements.
- Experience in project planning, schedule creation, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills for client and vendor interactions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities to manage project details effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Excel, project management tools, and estimation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
