About the RoleBCI is seeking an experienced Industrial Recruiter to recruit qualified craft professionals for industrial construction, maintenance, and project-based work.
This position will work closely with operations and management to identify manpower needs, source qualified candidates, and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled craft professionals. We’re looking for someone who understands the industrial labor market, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes a proactive approach to recruiting.
What You'll Do- Recruit skilled craft professionals, including pipefitters, welders, ironworkers, electricians, equipment operators, laborers, and other industrial crafts.
- Partner with operations and management to understand current and upcoming manpower needs.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, previous applicants, and direct outreach.
- Create and manage job postings and conduct initial candidate screenings.
- Verify candidate experience, qualifications, certifications, and availability.
- Coordinate interviews, craft testing, and pre-employment requirements.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and track hiring activity.
- Work with HR and operations to transition selected candidates through the onboarding process.
- 10 years of verifiable work history in industrial recruiting.
- Extensive experience recruiting skilled craft and hourly field employees.
- Strong knowledge of industrial construction, maintenance, and turnaround environments.
- Strong knowledge of the Houston-area industrial craft labor market preferred.
- Experience recruiting for refineries, chemical plants, and industrial facilities preferred.
- Strong sourcing, networking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with job boards, social media, applicant tracking systems, and other recruiting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple positions and changing manpower priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively with operations, HR, field supervision, and management.
