We’re looking for a Senior Network Escalation Engineer to serve as a senior technical authority supporting complex Federal customer environments.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing role focused on advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation management across enterprise and data center networking environments.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive resolution of high-priority and business-critical network escalations

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

• Lead customer escalation calls, technical discussions, and onsite engagements

• Troubleshoot complex Layer 2/Layer 3 networking issues

• Analyze packet captures, traffic flows, and protocol behavior

• Reproduce customer issues and collaborate with Engineering on permanent fixes

• Develop workarounds, mitigations, and troubleshooting documentation

• Partner with Engineering, QA, Product Management, and Development teams

• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing

🎯 Required Qualifications

• 10 years of networking experience in enterprise, service provider, or data center environments

• 7 years of advanced customer escalation / critical production support

• Extensive experience with Juniper Enterprise & Data Center Switching

• Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 networking expertise

• Hands-on EVPN/VXLAN experience

• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and multicast

• Linux troubleshooting experience

• Strong packet analysis and protocol troubleshooting skills

• Excellent customer-facing communication and escalation management skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience

Juniper MX | MPLS | L2/L3 VPNs | SRX | IPsec | Network Security | Python | Perl | Shell Scripting | Network Automation

Certifications such as JNCIP/JNCIE or CCNP/CCIE are a plus.
