- Currently pursuing a B.A./B.S. Degree or higher in a quantitative discipline: statistics, applied mathematics, operations research, computer science, management of information systems, engineering, economics or equivalent and returning to the program after the completion of the internship
- Good programming skills and knowledge of data science tools and libraries in Python or R, ability to write SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, BI dashboarding, R visualization packages, etc.).
- Good mathematical background (linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics)
- Familiar with machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, optimization, etc) and understand their mathematical foundations
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
