Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Execute laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively while adhering to proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or supplies with proper technique to ensure safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques suitable for various surfaces.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized service that enhances client satisfaction.
• Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and maintenance requests to ensure seamless housekeeping management.
• Support outdoor work activities when required, including patio or garden area cleaning and maintenance.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of janitorial and custodial practices.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, equipment, detergents, and sanitation standards essential for maintaining high-quality cleanliness.
• Hands-on experience with carpet cleaning machines, floor care tools, and laundry appliances is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks in fast-paced settings.
• Prior customer service experience that highlights excellent communication skills and client-focused service delivery.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and chemical use in cleaning procedures.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior or garden area upkeep.

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
