Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to maintain a spotless environment
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting, outdoor work, and moving furniture or supplies safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas as required
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools with skill and safety awareness
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific needs and preferences to enhance customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with janitorial or custodial background preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces including carpets, floors, countertops, and outdoor areas
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and equipment operation for optimal results
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling protocols
