Standard guest service agent/front desk clerk job description:

A guest service agent is responsible for taking care of guests while they stay at the hotel. You must report to work on time, well groomed, in uniform, with your nametag, wearing a smile and ready to work. You will be responsible for making reservations, answering all phone calls, answering guest questions, and being familiar with the surrounding Cedar Valley area to recommend attractions to guests. You will also be responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel.

Main Responsibilities for Front Desk Agent

· Check guests into and out of the hotel

· Make reservations with our Property Management System

· Answer phone calls

· Follow company policies and procedures

· Greet every guest with a smile

· Create a memorable experience for the guests

· Take care of any needs the guest has

Qualifications for Front Desk Clerk

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent

· Experience using booking software is preferred

· Always able to put on a friendly smile

· Ability to make connections with guests

· Great organizational skills

· Being reliable, honest, and responsible

· Amazing communication abilities

· Good English speaking skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $11 - $12
