Front Desk Associate – First Shift

Harbor House Inn, a charming 19-room bed and breakfast, is looking for a friendly, personable, and dependable Front Desk Associate to join our team for first shift.
This is much more than simply standing behind a front desk. Because we are a smaller bed and breakfast, our guests expect a warm, welcoming, and personal experience. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, can multitask, stays organized, and takes pride in providing excellent guest service.
First Shift Responsibilities:
- Setting up and maintaining our morning breakfast service
- Greeting guests and creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
- Checking guests out and assisting with any questions or needs
- Answering phones and taking reservations
- Assisting guests with information about the property and local area
- Communicating with housekeeping regarding departures, arrivals, and guest needs
- Handling multiple responsibilities while staying organized
- Keeping the front desk, lobby, and breakfast areas clean and presentable
- Assisting with general front desk duties throughout the shift
- Helping ensure each guest has a positive and memorable stay
What We’re Looking For:

Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person. For us, personality, reliability, and the ability to provide great customer service are extremely important.
Harbor House Inn has just 19 rooms, which allows us to provide a much more personal experience than a large hotel. Our Front Desk Associates play a big part in that experience.
