Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing items.
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling.
• Perform stain removal and spot cleaning techniques to maintain the appearance of all textiles.
• Handle special cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or delicate item care with precision and care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safety standards are met.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Follow established safety protocols during all laundry operations to prevent accidents or damage.
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed to support overall hotel cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Experience

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Knowledge of laundry procedures, including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
