Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Sanitize surfaces and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Conduct carpet cleaning, floor care, and other specialized cleaning tasks as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in both residential and commercial settings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping management is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment for various surfaces.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to cooking or additional sanitation practices is advantageous.
