Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman to join our team, dedicated to maintaining and repairing a variety of facilities and equipment. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our properties by performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute repairs and installations
• Perform general maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting to uphold facility standards
• Conduct erosion control measures to prevent soil erosion and protect landscaping or construction sites
• Repair or replace equipment using power tools safely while adhering to OSHA safety standards and workplace safety regulations
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of materials or equipment to ensure efficient project completion
• Implement safety protocols related to climbing, respiratory protection, and industrial construction environments
• Support construction projects by following detailed instructions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards

Skills

• Proficient in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance
• Knowledge of erosion control techniques and industrial construction safety regulations
• Skilled in manual handling, heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights safely
• Familiarity with workplace safety practices including respiratory protection and OSHA safety standards
• Ability to operate power tools efficiently while maintaining safety protocols
• Experience in industrial construction environments with a focus on implementing safety regulations and procedures
