Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor and Laundry attendant, to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor and Laundry attendant, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team
• Assign and inspect cleaning tasks to ensure they are completed to high standards
• Train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing guidance and support
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas
• Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping
• Collaborate with maintenance and front desk teams to address facility maintenance needs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in housekeeping operations
• Schedule and organize staff shifts to meet operational needs
• Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor and Laundry attendant, or in a similar supervisory role
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment
• Ability to train and motivate a diverse team
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest issues professionally

• Integrity and a customer-focused mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with housekeeping software and tools is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
