Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Operate commercial-grade dryers, washers, tunnel dryers, barrier washers, and conveyor dryers safely and efficiently.
• Perform laundry washing using appropriate fabric care techniques, including bleach washing, cold water stain removal, hot water stain removal, baking soda stain removal, and mechanical stain removal.
• Manage laundry folding machines and laundry ironing stations to ensure garments are neatly folded and pressed to standard.
• Use garment care machines for pressing, steaming, and cleaning to maintain high-quality garment presentation.
• Label garments accurately for proper identification and tracking; maintain an organized workspace for optimal workflow.
• Conduct inventory tracking of laundry supplies, detergents, and cleaning agents; restock as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with customer service tasks such as cashiering when required, addressing guest or client inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Push carts efficiently to transport laundry items across different workstations or areas within the facility.
• Operate tunnel washer machines and steam cleaning equipment following safety procedures to ensure effective cleaning processes.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas by performing routine cleaning duties; uphold safety standards during machine operation.

Experience

• Prior experience in commercial laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with fabric care knowledge including stain removal techniques (baking soda, bleach, hot/cold water) is advantageous.
• Experience operating various laundry machinery such as pressing machines, stackable dryers, tunnel washers, barrier washers, and laundry folding machines.
• Knowledge of machine operation safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain an orderly workspace under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests or clients.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions for labeling, inventory tracking, and garment handling processes.
