Job Description:
Behavioral Health Tech – Residential Treatment Facility
We are seeking a qualified Behavioral Health Techician to provide direct support to clients and the Clinical/Operations Team at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and support to clients at the residential treatment center.
- Assist with medication self-administration and monitor clients while they take their medications.
- Offer guidance on recovery using the 12-step model and provide education on healthy coping mechanisms.
- Conduct random urinalysis drug testing as outlined in our policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of urine submissions, client data related to medication administration, and any unusual client behavior or suspicious activity.
- Report any conflicts or concerns to the Clinical Director and Residential Director immediately.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Six months of behavioral health experience, preferably.
- A Valid Driver's License.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Certification in self-administration of medication procedures and related training requirements, provided by the facility.
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
