Full Time – Outreach Coordinator
The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for Mount Sinai Wellness Center (MSWC) achieving its goal of informing the community of its programs that provide services to individuals impacted by substance use disorder, mental health, homelessness, and other co-occurring conditions. The outreach coordinator will help MSWC expand its outreach efforts by raising awareness of the issue of substance use and how it impacts the community. This position reports to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing community engagement events
- Community training and education
- Being a liaison with community partners
- Support the development and implementation of media campaigns
- Support strategies to recruit and retain current partners, volunteers and donors
- Volunteer recruitment
- Volunteer training and education
- Support the implementation of community fundraisers
- Excellent research and public-speaking skills; effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in developing and or maintaining webpages, social media, and graphic designing.
- Work alternative hours as required, including nights and weekends.
- Effective media presentation composition, layout and production of written materials.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop software
- Proficient in writing and speaking in Spanish
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and with a group, often times leading the group.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Social Services field such as Sociology, Psychology or Social Work
- Community Engagement and Outreach experience
- Experience implementing and facilitating trainings
