What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Emergency Room Full Time Nights position at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Sherman (12921)?
The Emergency Room Nurse will be responsible for evaluation and care of emergency room patients. This will include triage of patient, initial assessment, notification of ED physician of patient arrival and condition. Implementing physician orders and assisting the ED physician with any procedures as needed

Required Skills:
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- At least 5 years experience as a RN in hospital Emergency Room preferred.
- RN, current in the State of Texas
- BLS
- Current ACLS / PALS preferred or included in education plan
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
