We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join our team in Waxahachie.
Applicants must have at least 1 year of full-time neonatal intensive care unit experience with demonstrated competence in all gestational ages and MBSS competency for the ability to work both NICU and adults.

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join our team in Waxahachie.
Applicants must have at least 1 year of full-time neonatal intensive care unit experience with demonstrated competence in all gestational ages and MBSS competency for the ability to work both NICU and adults.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans and deliver skilled interventions for patients in medical-surgical, ICU, telemetry and specialty units
- Participate in interdisciplinary discussions and make recommendations regarding NPO status, diet levels and instrumental assessments
- Document timely and accurately in the electronic medical record per hospital and regulatory standards
- Completing patient/family and staff education related to communication, cognition and swallowing, as appropriate
- Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives within our team
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required.
- Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
- Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills
Salary : $60 - $66
