This is a full-time, remote role for a Medical Interpreter. The Medical Interpreter will provide professional medical interpretation services to bridge communication between patients and healthcare providers. Responsibilities include facilitating clear and accurate verbal and non-verbal communication in medical settings, performing oral interpretation from one language to another, and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information. Additionally, the interpreter will assist with written translations and support patients and providers in delivering culturally competent care.
- Proficiency in Medical Interpretation and Interpreting to ensure clear communication in healthcare settings
- Skilled in Translation and Simultaneous Interpretation
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to various healthcare topics
- Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Certification as a Medical Interpreter or equivalent qualifications is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is required
- Familiarity with healthcare procedures and patient support services
