Molecular Genetic Technologist - Extraction

Shift Information:
This position will be scheduled on one of the following shift:

• Wednesday - Sunday, 3am - 11:30am

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs testing and troubleshoots assay performance.

• Operates and maintains the laboratory equipment.
• Performs QC and takes appropriate actions if systems deviate from the laboratory’s established specification.

• Adheres to Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics Compliance Program
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or medical technology
• Relevant experience: 2 years
• Certification (preferred): MB(ASCP) or MT(ASCP)
